బ్లాగులను సులభంగా PDF files గా download చేసుకోండి

బ్లాగులు వ్రాయడం చాల మందికి సరదా. కొందరికి హాబీ. మనకు తెలిసిన ఎన్నో విషయాలను బాహ్య ప్రపంచానికి తెలియ జెప్పవచ్చును. మనకు తెలియని విషయాలను వివిధ బ్లాగుల నుండి గ్రహించ వచ్చును. అయితే బ్లాగులను host చేసే సంస్థ గాని server గాని బాగా ఉన్నంత వరకు మనము వ్రాసిన టపాలు భద్రంగా ఉంటాయి. ఒక్కోసారి అకారణంగా ఇబ్బందులు రావడం వలన మన టపాలు, బ్లాగులు, వెరసి మనము కష్టపడి తెల్ల కాగితం పై తేట తెల్లం చేసి వ్రాసిన  ఆలోచనలు, రచనలు గల్లంతు అయ్యే అవకాశం వుంది. మన టపాలను archive చేసుకోవడం చాల అవసరం.

నేను ఈ మధ్య ఒక web site లో 'ఉచితంగా బ్లాగులను PDF files గా convert చేసే application" చూసాను. ఇది చాల సదుపాయంగా వుంది. ఇలాంటివి చాల tools ఉన్నాయనుకోండి. నాకు నచ్చినది ఈ site:www.printfriendly.com. ఈ సైట్ లో మన బ్లాగులో ఈ tool ని ఎలా install చేసుకోవాలో చక్కగా, సులభంగా వివరించారు.  దానిని నా బ్లాగులు అన్నింటిలో install చేశాను. దీని ఇంకొక ఉపయోగం ఏమిటంటే మన స్నేహితులకు, బంధువులకు మన రచనలను సులువుగా download చేసుకునే అవకాశం వుంది.  మీ రచనలు భద్ర పరచుకోవచ్చు కూడా.

INSTRUCTIONS

ముందు printfriendly.com web site కు వెళ్ళండి.

అందులో మధ్యన గల చిన్న గదిలో గల "Get the printfriendly button for your web site" అని ఉండి దాని క్రింద బ్రౌన్ అర లో "Get your button" అన్న దానిని క్లిక్ చేయండి.

అది మిమ్ములను "http://www.printfriendly.com/button" అనే site కు తీసుకు వెళుతుంది.

ఈ site లో మూడు విషయాలు 1, 2, 3 ఉంటాయి.

1. Select site type: ఇందులో నాలుగు choice లు ఉన్నాయి. మీది ఏ వర్గం క్రిందకు వస్తుందో దానిని click చేయండి.

2. Choose Button

మీకు నచ్చిన icon ను క్లిక్ చేయండి. ఈ విధంగా మీ బ్లాగు లేదా వెబ్ పేజిలో ప్రింట్ ఫ్రెండ్లీ వాళ్ళ icon మీ పేజీ లో కనబడుతుంది అన్నమాట. తరువాత
3. Copy the code

ఇక్కడ దీని దిగువన బాక్సు లో ఇచ్చిన కోడ్ మొత్తాన్ని కాపీ చేయాలి. This is how you can do:
(a) click your mouse once in this box

(b) press "ctrl" and letter "A"  (ఇది మొత్తం బాక్సు లో ఉన్న code ని highlight చేస్తుంది)

(c) then press "ctrl" and letter "C" (ఇది highlight చేసిన code ని copy చేస్తుంది)

(Now you have copied this code. నౌ, you need to paste this code into your blog's background. How? Follow these instructions further)
Check on the right side of the page with the heading How to Guides which has 4 links and More Options with 2 links
Ignore the "More Options"
Under the "How to Guides" click on the first option if you have a blog i.e. Blogger/Blogspot Guide (This is what I used for my blog)
This will take you to another web page "http://blog.printfriendly.com/2011/02/add-print-friendly-to-blogger-or.html"
In this page The instructions are given clearly. Follow them.
1. Copy the code (you have already done that)
You need to paste the code into your Blog's HTML code.
To do this follow the instructions given in Steps 2 and Step 3.
Step 2: Edit Your HTML Template

• Log into Blogger or Blogspot
• Click Design > Edit HTML 
• Click Check Box Expand Widget Templates (don't miss!).

Step 3: Paste Button Code

• Find  (Sorry I am unable to paste the info. You can check the page for instructions) in template code.
• Paste PrintFriendly Button Code
• Save Template

This should install the PDF option to your blog. If you have more blogs, you need to copy this code into each of your blogs' html code as directed.
